February 2011 Journey Update
Compelled to empower the children of Belize by improved health and the ability to reach further education as a result of this, the focus of WMI-Belize is to provide safe drinking water to schools in need, extending into the surrounding villages and communities and to share the Living Water Message of Jesus Christ at every given opportunity. Upon our arrival in country, we immediately determined many project targets, but settled first on a school of 1,020 children in a village known as Bella Vista in the southern portion of Belize. Our second school project was determined by a donor request for the village of Billy White in the more north western portion of the country. We are happy to report both projects are nearing completion of the LWTS installation, Health and Hygiene training with Celebration Ceremonies scheduled on February 22nd and March 6th.
