Project Billy White

While we continue to conduct health impact studies in other communities, we are also busy planning for our second clean water system.

Our second project, which is slated for later this fall, is in the Cayo District in the Western part of the country. The small village of Billy White is located just a few miles from the Guatemala border.

We are excited to be working together with ROWKids on this project. ROWKids has been working in Belize for five years, and has developed a close relationship with the Billy White community, as well as neighboring communities that lie between San Ignacio and Spanish Lookout in the Cayo District.  ROWKids provides educational opportunities by supporting schools and students in communities, including Billy White.

January 2011 – The start of the construction at the Billy White School started with a team project prayer in Spanish!!
